Abstract “Painting” with Fiber Workshop

Jerry O’Donnell will teach you a basic wet felt process. Participants will come away with a completed 10” x 10” abstract work of fiber art. Far from the usual basic garment, or wearable, traditional hand-felted articles; the participant will explore the felting process as an Art Form. Natural, and color-dyed wool and/or silk fibers will be used to “paint” an abstract design of the participant choice, while learning the wet-felting process. This creative arts camp provides a safe and fun space for caregivers and their loved ones with dementia to engage in creative self-expression while socializing and learning something new.
