About the Award
The Betty Cone Medal of Arts Award, established in 1999, honors local artists that have achieved clear excellence in their discipline and/or have made extraordinary contributions to their field or the community through their artistry or expertise. The Betty Cone Medal of Arts Award is sponsored by AT&T North Carolina.
- Nominees must reside, work, or volunteer in the greater Greensboro area.
- Recipients of the Betty Cone Medal of Arts Award must be visual, literary, or performing artists who have achieved clear excellence in their art form.
Award decisions will be made based on the information contained in the nomination form and attachments.
The 2019 Betty Cone Medal of Arts Award will be presented at the ArtsGreensboro Annual Meeting on June 19th.
Call for Nominations
ArtsGreensboro will announce the Betty Cone Medal of Arts Award Call for Nominations in early 2019, and be will accepting online submissions only.
