9th Annual Troubadours’ Christmas Concert
December 2, 2022 @ 7:30 pm
FreeNow in its 9th year, The Troubadours’ Christmas Concert is an eclectic celebration of the wonders of Christmastide. It’s made possible by area churches and local businesses. The Concert is a fundraiser to benefit the work of Room At The Inn. Staged in the charming, historic ambiance of The Carolina Theatre, during Greensboro’s Festival of Lights celebration, the Concert features Troubadours performing in a wide variety of artistic genres, each representing an area church or artistic center. A complimentary dessert reception follows the Concert, and guests are then invited to stay for a special screening of Disney’s A Christmas Carol.
Founded by friends at Christ Covenant Church in Greensboro, The Troubadours’ Christmas Concert has previously featured some of the city’s most spirited choirs, string quartets, guitarists, folk musicians, dueling pianists, youth choirs, pop recording artists — and a variety of ethnic performance troupes.
This year’s performers include: Jubilant Sykes, with James Douglass | Lorena Guillen, with Leonardo Pronzolino | The Faub Family Trio | Burlington Boys Choir | Kevin Dollar and the Minor Swing Band | Citizen Shade | Hansel and Gretel Players | and others still to be announced!
