Artist in Residence Informal Showing

Join the NC Dance Festival’s 2022 Artists in Residence, as they share what they have been working on since July. This free informal showing features dance film and live performance and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss dance with the choreographers. Rae Cozart will present a short dance film created in collaboration with Morgan Burgess. Caitlyn Schrader, in collaboration with dancers, will share a work in progress based on the historical, cultural, and political context of manifestos. Alexandra Warren and JOYEMOVEMENT will present “Awakening Sankofa,” a dance film that recently premiered at the Move to Change Festival in NYC.
