The 1st Annual GOAT Awards will be held January 14, 2023, in Greensboro, NC. What makes this award show different is the recipients will be honored by the community. Applications for nominations will be available throughout Greensboro and Guilford County. We are looking for the Greatest Barber Shop, Nail Salon, Convenient Store, Hair Salon, Automobile Dealership, Chicken Wings, Restaurant, Funeral Home, Radio DJ, Party DJ, Fast Food, Athletic Store, Basketball Court, Football Coach, Basketball Coach, Apartment Complex, etc. The entire list will be available on the website: theorangefamilies.org. You can also email us your nomination at info@theorangefamilies.org.
Tickets are $18.50 plus sales tax.

Mothers Standing Against Gun Violence and Families Against Senseless Killings is calling for a MLK Cease Fire Month. We want to salute those who never get recognized for their doing good in the hood. So, we are calling for a CEASE FIRE during the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday Weekend and month. Enjoy the entire lineup of events during the weekend of service.

We as Mothers have lost our children to gun violence. Unless you have been in our shoes you will never understand our pain. We are asking for a Cease Fire Holiday for our community and ourselves to come together for HEALING and PEACE!!
