HOPE FEST: Dancing Globally to End Hunger Locally

A multi-cultural dance festival to benefit Greensboro Urban Ministry and A Simple Gesture. Local dance groups from diverse cultures, including Cambodian, Irish, Hindu, Native American, African American, Israeli, and Latino, will perform. After each performance, members from the audience can volunteer to learn a few steps, and have lots of fun! Triad Tapestry Children’s Chorus from the Piedmont Interfaith Council will open the event. Baked goods and savory treats from the dancing cultures, as well as coffee, teas, and waters, will be offered for purchase. Ten Thousand Villages will have a booth offering international goods for sale. All proceeds will be shared between the two agencies to fight hunger in our community.
