Watercolor Mixed Media Series with Mavis

Tuesdays through February from 10:00am – 11:30am. This program is offered at a reduced rate thanks to sponsorship from HealthTeam Advantage. $50 per 4 class series or $15/individual class (includes all supplies and instruction).

Students will learn watercolor painting techniques using both paints and watercolor pencils to create unique works of art based on images supplied by the instructor and/or their own images and imagination. All supplies included.
Mavis has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Conn. She studied stone lithography, intaglio printmaking, wood and linoleum cuts, and papermaking. She had a 25+ year career as an art director in the international printing industry and has worked as a graphic artist since 1979. Mavis began oil painting in 2001. Currently, her paintings are in over a dozen private collections from North Carolina to California and France.
